The Thirty-Nine.
The inspiration for our Thirty-Nine came to me from the very first surfboard I owned, it was a used board that I had bought from the local surf shack when I was as a teenager. Although that may have been many years ago, the memory is as vivid as yesterday.
I took those early memories and translated them into our Pintail Thirty-Nine shape.
The Thirty-Nine fuses a classic surfboard shape with colors reminiscent of early surf culture and then injects itself with a modern approach to board construction and performance.
The perfect set up for early morning surf checks or for carving hills in the evening, the Thirty-Nine gets the job done, grabs attention where ever it goes, and bridges the past with the present.
The 39 Longboard is a collaboration between California based skateboarder Buddy Carr and New York based graphic designer Antonio Carusone.
