Gator Grip
Surf2Go represents Gator Grip from TopTape. Gator Grip is high-end griptape. In Europe Gator Grip is quite unknown, but in the US it is well recognized by the high-end users.
We currently have Gator Grip in three different variations:
- Black GatorGrip® HD Extra Coarse Grip Tape (11” x 60’)
- Black TrueGrip® Standard Grip Tape (11” x 60’)
- Clear GatorGrip® Grip Tape (11” x 60’)
The Extra Coarse griptape is used by many professional downhillracers.
The Standard griptape is thick and robust.
The Cleargrip is even thicker, but still amazingly transparant, with an awfully good grip profile.
Another advantage is the width of 11", either on the roll or when bought as single sheet. That makes it possible to use on any longboard, no matter what size.

Comment: wow thanks so much for this grip tape! i opened the packet and was amazed by how rough and grippy it was. i have vicious grip also and man there is some serious competition between these 2 you cant really tell the difference except maybe in the price! it really is an awsome piece of kit . it walks way over the top of other brands edger can forget it this does cartwheels over it. anything else just cant compare . riding with vicious as well helped me compare so much better and the truth is they are the same! maybe just slightly gator having the edge over vicious because of the width but still all good. if anyone wants vicious, make a choice because they are both sweet!. slides are easy on gator, the grip is mental . your gonna do more damage to yourself using gator than pulling slides, thats how grippy it is hahaha. its what we need though something new. vicious claim theres is the grippest well i think not this one is certainly a new contender.....
