Designed for aggressive downhill and freestyle riding. With each redesign closer reaching the demands of the rider. The design of the Fullbag Elise is the work of Fullbag team rider and professional downhill skateboarder, Patrick
Switzer. Inspiration originates from Patrick's history in slalom, and the concept of Lotus's sports car the 'Elise' (built for performance, with no frills or creature comforts). Designed for aggressive downhill and freestyle riding. With each redesign closer reaching the demands of the rider. Fullbag makes top notch gear. After a year of abuse Patrick's 2009 race board has traveled thousands of kilometers and holds the Fullbag testament true, passing stringent quality tests. Length : 38" Width : 10" Wheelbase : 28.5", 29", 29.5", 30" A small agile wheelbase directs your weight closer to your wheels, matched with a generous standing platform being wider at the rear augments leverage, control and stability. A narrow waist reduces weight while creating a gas pedal for the toe of the rear foot. (Also feels sweet to lock the hand in for early grabs) Deep wheel wells providing ample clearance for a respectable setup with 75mm wheels. Long enough nose and tail for your freestyle 'manual' needs. Construction: Solid, stiff construction with nil torsional flex. Made of 7 ply Canadian maple capped with 2 ply arborite. Arborite is slightly stronger and lighter than maple, and also requires less glue. Arborite is resilient against scrapes, scratches and slams. Concave: The concave reaches a higher than average depth of 18mm through a three stage progressively steeper radial concave starting at a light radial through the center, then increasing at 2.5" and again at 1" away from the widest edge. Call it, leverage maximus. |
